Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using OrgHive AI ("OrgHive," "the Service," "we," "us," or "our"), a product of TechLion, LLC, a California limited liability company, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
OrgHive is an AI-powered knowledge management platform that allows organizations to create, organize, and search internal knowledge bases using artificial intelligence. Features include department wikis, AI agents, document embedding, knowledge sources, and team collaboration tools.
3. Accounts and Organizations
3.1
You must create an account to use OrgHive. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3.2
Organizations that subscribe to OrgHive are responsible for all activity that occurs under their account, including activity by their invited members.
3.3
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You agree to update your information to keep it current.
3.4
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use OrgHive to:
- Upload, store, or share content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or other harmful content
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission from TechLion, LLC
5. Your Content
5.1
You retain ownership of all content, documents, and data you upload to OrgHive ("Your Content").
5.2
By uploading Your Content, you grant TechLion, LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
5.3
You represent that you have all necessary rights to upload Your Content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.
5.4
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of Your Content.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1
OrgHive, including its software, design, features, and all related intellectual property, is owned by TechLion, LLC. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in the Service.
6.2
The OrgHive name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of TechLion, LLC. You may not use these marks without prior written permission.
7. AI Features and Accuracy
7.1
OrgHive uses artificial intelligence to process and respond to queries based on your organization's knowledge base. AI-generated responses may not always be accurate, complete, or current.
7.2
You acknowledge that AI responses are provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional legal, financial, medical, or other specialized advice.
7.3
TechLion, LLC is not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content within the Service.
8. Third-Party Services
OrgHive integrates with third-party services including Anthropic (Claude AI), Supabase, Vercel, and others. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms of service. TechLion, LLC is not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services.
9. Privacy
Your use of OrgHive is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Fees and Payment
10.1
OrgHive offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid plan details, including pricing and features, are described on our pricing page.
10.2
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
10.3
We reserve the right to modify our pricing with 30 days advance notice to active subscribers.
11. Termination
11.1
You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings.
11.2
TechLion, LLC may suspend or terminate your access to OrgHive at any time if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice.
11.3
Upon termination, you may export your data for 30 days following termination. After that period, your data may be permanently deleted.
12. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. TECHLION, LLC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TECHLION, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU PAID TO US IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TechLion, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
